I have made it to the world of blogs!
Who am I? I am a wine enthusiast from the Ann Arbor Michigan area who discovered the "world of wine" about three years ago. My passion for the subject has only grown since. I have discovered so many ways to learn about wine from the traditional avenues of Wine Spectator and Decanter magazines, to the wine classes of Lee Hershey ("the" wine guy in Michigan) to the tech world of other wine blogs, podcasts from the 3 Wine Guys in Chicago (www.3wineguys.com) and my favorite, the vlog of Gary Vaynerchuk at the Wine Library in New Jersey (http://tv.winelibrary.com).
I am by no means an "expert" or an "afficianado" but just an enthusiast. I have a lot to learn in my journey to become the "wine guy" I would like to become.
What am I blogging about? My Monologues will help me to continue to learn about the world of wine and I hope that you will come along with me on this wine journey. I will be posting tasting notes on various varietals available to me (some you will know and some you may not), local winery visits, wine news, and various avenues for you and me to continue to quench our thirst for knowledge of wine.
