Tweet and Taste Michigan is Back!!

After and brief and well deserved hiatus, Shannon and Cortney Casey of Michigan by the Bottle bring us Tweet & Taste Michigan featuring Silver Leaf Vineyard and Winery. On Thursday October 7th at 8:00 p.m. we will be taking an on-line tasting tour up to the Leelenau Peninsula with Silver Leaf. www.silverleafvineyard.com

All the fun and frivolity will take place on Twitter (yes, Twitter). You do not need to be afraid of Twitter. I know some of you just "don't get it". Trust me, try it, you might like it. At the very least its a wonderful way to participate in the Tweet & Taste Michigan events. Signing up for Twitter is easy and once in, follow the tasting on the 7th at "hashtag" TTMI. . . that is #ttmi. The tasting comments will come fast and furious so you can see how your thoughts compare to others tasting at the same time. Claudia Tyagi, our local Master Sommelier will be on-line and commenting so you also get the benefit of some expert insight.

We will be tasting three wines from Silver Leaf on the 7th: their Pinot Gris, Riesling and "Purple Foot" (which is 100% Lemberger).
